"I love my job! I go to school Monday, Wednesday, and Friday morning and I work Tuesday, Thursday, and most of the day Friday. Most dentists that I spoke with were more than willing to work around my school and vacation schedule, as well as getting my wisdom teeth out and finals week. This is a great job for me, and I'm so grateful I took the class from Dental Assisting School of Utah. I didn't think I was very prepared leaving school, but on my first day of work, I did 3 procedures on my own! Also, some advice for the students: Take the extra classes! Every dentist I spoke with required that I know how to do a crown prep and several wanted me to do prophy's and orthodontics.

"I was with some friends from high school a few weeks ago and one of them said, 'Wow, Hope, you have a REAL job!' And I do! I have a real job and I love it. Question: Overall, how was your experience at DASU?

"I decided to study as a Dental Assistant, because they get a good salary. I choose DASU because they have Saturday classes and it helped with my job schedule. Truly, my experiences with the school were the best, especially with the teachers. They really helped me a lot in everything. I would tell other people to come to DASU because the students are all my friends now, and the teachers, what can I say, they were the best! Thank you so much, DASU!" - Leslie

I choose this school because it was only on Saturdays and it only lasted 10 weeks. I took some college classes, but never felt close with my classmates as I do at DASU.
